To answer JT's two (probably rhetorical) questions:
- Probably as long as it's in the name. It took me a while to get my mind 'round it, too, but at least I bothered to read about it instead of making a refuted point time and time again.
- Yes. Most people take themselves (and life) too seriously to see tongue-in-cheek comments for what they are.
