Interesting. My interpretation of atheist is based on a- meaning without or not, so an atheist is simply one who is not a theist. I am most definitely not a theist, so I am an atheist. I don't mean to affiliate myself with ancient atheists by calling myself one.
Are there articles on your site about the roots of atheism and agnosticism? I looked a bit but couldn't find anything.
