Actually, I thought H.L. Mencken was already recognized on the Calendar. You are right; he is not. And his birthday is coming up - 12 September.
A review of the Calendar is overdue. I will update it next week to incorporate your suggestion, and possibly some others.
With respect to the availability of t-shirts, coffee mugs, and calendars, you can find all of these and more at the UCTAA online store operated by one of our members.
