I feel the need to make a short comment on reflection 17 by David Mace. I found the writing generally informative, and agree with the basic idea put forward.
There is one issue I would address. I have found, through personal experience, that many people who would be comfortable amongst friends discussing sexual matters would be uncomfortable speaking along religious lines with those same friends. I have observed in many adults an inclination to separate groups to which they may speak on different "delicate" subjects. Those to whom you would speak of sexual matters are not necessarily those to which you would breach religious matters.
