I agree that imposing a set of ethics on the general population is wrong. I sense a lot of anger in your article.
I was a christian for 45 years, now an agnostic. We should do what is right based on moral criteria, not because some all powerfull being will punish us if we do not.
Now I sound like an atheist. Is there a god? I would welcome a discussion.
